WHERE I COME FROM
I am proud to have planted my roots and raised a family in Brazos County over the last forty years. After originally pursuing a career in banking, I moved on to establish a career at Texas A&M for over thirty years. I am passionate about student success, and credit my successful career at A&M to giving countless students the "tough love" they needed in order to graduate.
WHY I AM READY TO LEAD
During my tenure as the Brazos County Democratic Party Chair, I put the Brazos County Democratic Party on a strong financial footing. I led a successful effort that increased Democratic performance in the 2020 Election. Finally, I remain an avid volunteer with several local community organizations.
WHY I WANT TO SERVE:
Overseeing the construction and maintenance of roads and bridges,
Improve access to public healthcare and mental health services,
Working with affiliated partnerships, cities, and business entities
towards job growth to build the vibrancy and sustainability of the community
Keeping our community safe
Responsible management of the county budget
Providing broadband access to those underserved areas
Building community awareness and support
